Minimal design studio workspace with printed layouts and a green plant

I'm a graphic designer with 15+ years of experience turning ideas into thoughtful, engaging visual communication. I've worked across nonprofit, agency, corporate and freelance environments, creating everything from brand identities and campaigns to publications, digital content, events and marketing materials. I'm naturally curious and enjoy the process of figuring things out. I love taking a complex idea, finding the story within it and turning it into design that feels clear, purposeful and visually compelling. I care about the big picture, but I'm equally invested in the details that make a piece of design feel considered and complete. My approach is collaborative and practical. I listen, ask questions, solve problems and work to understand what a project needs to accomplish before deciding how it should look. Whether I'm developing a brand, designing a publication, or creating a campaign, my goal is always the same: make something that communicates clearly, connects with its audience and looks great doing it.

Design in a Changing Landscape

Design is evolving quickly, and I believe staying curious is part of being a good designer. I actively keep up with emerging technologies and AI tools, exploring where they can genuinely add value to the creative process. I use AI thoughtfully—as a tool to streamline workflows, explore possibilities, tackle repetitive tasks, and work more efficiently. But I don't believe technology replaces the most important parts of design: curiosity, critical thinking, creative judgment, empathy, and a human understanding of what makes something resonate. The best work still comes from people. AI can help get you there faster, but the ideas, decisions, perspective, and creative direction need a human behind them.

Beyond the Design

When I'm not designing, I enjoy getting outside, exploring new places, and spending time with my family. After many years in Montana, my family and I recently relocated to Perth, Australia, bringing a fresh perspective—and a new chapter—to both life and work. I'm always interested in good ideas, interesting challenges, and opportunities to make something better than it was before.
